Are youth sports about children competing with other children – or have they become more about adults competing with each other through their kids?

John O’Sullivan, author of Changing the Game: The Parents Guide to Raising Happy, High-Performing Athletes and Giving Youth Sports back to Our Kids, worries that too many sports teams forget that youth sports are about play. Most of our kids won’t go on to become professional athletes. But all of our children can benefit from the lessons that youth sports teach.
