To have a real debate about the issues facing our country, we must first have shared facts.

Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer recognized this as a problem in America. We don’t seem to agree on basic facts before we start arguing. And as a business executive, he was surprised that citizens didn’t get regular reports with good numbers on the government’s performance to inform their decision making.

That’s why he started USA Facts, an organization designed to give Americans non-partisan, easy to understand updates on the government’s budget numbers and data reporting.

How much does the government really spend? And does that spending yield results? He hopes that USA Facts will answer those questions.

Check out USA Facts here.
